Annual Awards Dinner 2010
Tuesday March 2, 09 Starting at 7:00 PM, at
"Louie’s Oyster Bar & Grille"

This dinner event celebrates piscatorial triumphs of club members from beach and boat. Awards are presented for the top three surf caught fish of the year in the categories of Bass, Blues and Weakfish. The largest boat caught fish in the categories of Bass, Blues Weakfish, Seabass, Fluke and Blackfish also garner club trophies. Additionally, we use this event to celebrate members who competed with special distinction in the Inter-Club N.Y. Surf Fishing Competition sponsored by The Fisherman magazine. As in years past, Bayside Anglers have made a great showing in this statewide competition.

Our tentative date for this year’s dinner is Tuesday, March 3 rd. We expect to use a local restaurant, and usually we shoot for a fixed-price dinner including beer, wine and soda for in the neighborhood of $45. Family and friends are welcomed. Our director for this event is David Yagerman, and our co-director is Ron Jablonski. They are currently searching out potential venues. You may contact them with any suggestions or questions. As soon as reservations are made, details and directions will be posted on this page.

In addition to good food, drink, conversation and camaraderie, there is a fund raising raffle of fishing gear and other goodies donated by local and national manufacturers and businesses. Prizes Galore! We appreciate any donations of raffle prizes that you can solicit for us. We are a non-profit organization and all donations are fully tax-deductible and will be recognized on our “Sponsors” page. Directions:
Take the Long Island Expressway to Exit 36 Searingtown Road. Continue North on Searingtown Road for 2.3 Miles. Searingtown Road will turn into Port Washington Blvd. Continue North on Port Washington Blvd for 2.6 miles. Turn left onto Main Street for 1.1 miles. Louie’s is located next to the Town Dock.
Parking is opposite the restaurant.
