ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER

ANNUAL BEACH FRONT CLEANUP
April 21, 07 Starting at 10 AM

BAG Is holding it’s 13 th Annual Little Neck Bay “ Bass Beach” Clean-Up beginning at 10 AM on Saturday, April 21, 2007. ( Rain or Shine) Through the support of the NYC Dept. of Parks and the NY State Dept. of Environmental Conservation, bags, gloves, rakes and shovels are provided for this event. We welcome all volunteers and their families to help us in the Spring-cleaning of one of our most popular local fishing spots. Bring your kids and teach them a lesson in community service. Volunteers are well cared for with food and drink. To make things interesting, all participants are entered in a free raffle of 2 trips donated by the half-day open boat THE ANGLER out of Capt. Luna’s Marina in Howard Beach. Join us, make new friends, learn about the club, and help make a difference that you can see today and for the rest of the season.

Bass Beach is accessed by walking to the southern end of the bay along the bicycle path adjacent to the Northbound Cross Island Parkway. Take Cross Island Parkway to Northern Blvd. West. Go about ½ mile and make a right onto Bell Blvd. Continue about 1 mile and make a right onto 35 th Ave. Bear left and park at end. Footbridge to the bicycle path is up the hill opposite Crocheron Pond. BAG FAMILY FISHING FESTIVAL
June 23, 2007 Starting at 11 AM

On Saturday June 23, 2007 - BAG will hold it's annual Family Fishing Festival at Kissena Park Pond 11am - 1pm Bait and loaner rods, on hand instruction, assistance and giveaways. Great for the kids. and No Fishing License Needed! Park on the 164th Street side of the Park between 46th Ave. and 59th Ave. and head toward the Park House and Flag Pole near the pond and look for our Table. Sign up begins at 10:30am. BAG SNAPPER DERBY
Sunday - August 26, 07 - Starting at 11 AM

Registration starts at 10:30

On Sunday August 26, 2007 - BAG will hold it's annual Snapper Derby form 11am - 1pm at the Bayside Marina Fishing Pier. For children up to age 16. Trophies, Prizes, Giveaways, and a lot of fun too. Held at Bayside Marina Fishing Pier in on Little Neck Bay. Come on by with the family for a fun filled day.

Directions: Cross Island Parkway to Northern Boulevard West exit, stay on Northern Blvd. west about ½ mile until Bell Blvd. Make a right turn, continue until 28th Ave. then make another right turn, go strait and park at end. Take the pedestrian bridge over the Parkway and walk left (North) to the Marina. Go to the end of the pier and look for the crowd. NATIONAL ESTUARIES DAY FESTIVAL - Saturday, September 30

FREE! Please join us in a festival that commemorates our local estuary Little Neck Bay and celebrates the seafaring legacy that built this city into an international center of commerce. Come and learn about your neighborhoods civic, historical, recreational, community, environmental and artistic groups, meet with local political leaders and community activists, get special gifts and deals from local businesses, and discover first hand how the Coast Guard, Department of Fish and Wildlife, and The Department of Environmental Conservation work to keep our city and it’s waterways safe and secure.

Hike along our own unique and beautiful estuary trails, listen to live music, visit educational booths and exhibits from schools, businesses, and neighborhood organizations, and participate in children's activities and crafts. Bring the whole family and enjoy FREE activities, entertainment, hands-on demonstrations, crafts, fun games, boat and trolley rides!


MIS's 7th ANNUAL GATHERING OF ANGLERS at MONTAUK
October 7 & 8, 2005 6 PM Friday - 6PM Saturday

The interclub Korkers Cup contest starts on Friday night at 6 PM through Sunday morning, and ends in the early afternoon with an awards presentation and raffle drawings.
