We welcome all volunteers and their families to help us in the Spring-cleaning of our precious shoreline. Help clear out a seasons worth of detritus kicked ashore by winter wind and tide. This project will cover a nearly 2 mile stretch of public shoreline here in Bayside, NY. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own basic tools (work gloves, paper grabber / ez-reacher) and to wear work boots or similar footwear with traction to help prevent slipping on rocks. This is a rain or shine event, so please dress appropriately.

We encourage you to bring your kids and set an example of caring for the environment. School, scout and community groups are welcome. Please try to give us advance notice if you are bringing a group to join us.

Volunteers are well cared for with food and drink provided through the support of our friends at the Harris Corporation, and to make things interesting, all participants are entered in a free raffle for prizes including tickets for trips with The Angler Fleet of Port Washington , and other fishing and non-fishing goodies from Fisherman Depot of College Point and other community friends and supporters.

Join us and help make a difference that you can see today and for the rest of the season.
